AI For Business Bali
AI For Business Bali is an independent, vendor-neutral AI adoption consultancy and training provider for small and medium businesses across Bali. We help you choose the right tools, run a small pilot, and train your team to use AI in daily work — practically, without hype, and honest about where AI still falls short.
We are not a software vendor and take no reseller commissions, so the advice you get is shaped by your business, not by a product we are paid to sell. Most of our clients are Bali villas, restaurants, tour operators, retail shops, accounting firms, and agencies with 3 to 80 staff who want to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini without wasting money or breaking customer trust.
What does AI For Business Bali actually do?
We run three things: short advisory engagements, hands-on team training, and small supervised pilots. The goal is always the same — a clear answer to “should we use AI for this, and how”, backed by something you can test in weeks rather than a strategy deck you never open.
A typical starting point is a 90-minute paid diagnostic where we map your current workflows, find the two or three tasks where AI is likely to help (and the ones where it is likely to disappoint), and give you a written, plain-language plan. From there you decide what to do — with us, with your own team, or not at all.

Who is behind the advice?
Content and training here are led by Putu Raditya Wirawan, our Bali-based AI adoption lead. Putu works directly with local operators on practical rollouts — customer-service drafting, content production in Indonesian and English, bookkeeping cleanup, and review-response systems — and writes the guides on this site from those real engagements.
We are deliberately honest about credentials: we are a working consultancy, not a university lab. We do not claim awards, certifications, or partnerships we do not hold, and we will tell you plainly when a problem is better solved by hiring a person or fixing a process than by adding AI.
How is “vendor-neutral” different from a normal AI agency?
Many agencies in Bali resell a specific platform or earn affiliate fees on the tools they recommend. That can still be useful, but it bends the advice toward whatever pays them. We work differently on three points:
- No commissions. We do not take referral or reseller fees from AI vendors. You pay us for advice; that is our only revenue from your project.
- Your data stays yours. We help you set up tools under your own accounts and billing, so you keep control if you ever stop working with us.
- Honest about limits. We say out loud when a tool hallucinates, when it should never touch financial or legal output unchecked, and when the cheaper free tier is genuinely enough.
What does it cost, and is it worth it?
Pricing is kept transparent and is reviewed regularly. As of June 2026, the AI readiness diagnostic starts at IDR 2,500,000 (roughly USD 155), and half-day team workshops start at IDR 6,000,000 (roughly USD 370) for groups up to 12 people. Pilots are quoted per scope. These figures are a starting guide and are subject to change — we confirm a fixed price in writing before any work begins.
Is it worth it? Sometimes the honest answer is “not yet.” If your business has no repeatable text, support, or content task, AI may save you little. We would rather tell you that in the first call than sell you a workshop you do not need. Where AI does fit — a villa answering 40 booking enquiries a day, a restaurant translating menus and replying to reviews, an agency drafting first-pass copy — clients usually recoup the fee within a month or two of saved staff time.

We keep the written guides free and specific to Bali — local examples, Indonesian and English use, and the real constraints of small teams here — because that is the work we do every week.
Is AI safe for a small Bali business to use?
Used carefully, yes — but “carefully” is the operative word. The main risks we coach clients through are accuracy (AI can state wrong facts confidently), privacy (never paste customer ID or payment data into public tools), and over-reliance (a human should sign off on anything customer-facing or financial). We treat AI as a fast junior assistant that always needs checking, never as an unsupervised replacement for judgment. None of our guidance promises guaranteed results; outcomes depend on your workflows, your team, and the tools you choose.

Frequently asked questions
What does AI consulting in Bali actually cost?
Pricing depends on scope, not a fixed menu. As of June 2026, indicative starting points are: an AI readiness audit from IDR 1,500,000 (about USD 95), a team training workshop from IDR 2,500,000, and automation setup from IDR 4,000,000. These are planning ranges, not quotes. We quote in writing after a free scoping call, with no obligation, so you see the number before you decide.
How long does an AI project take?
Most first projects run between two and eight weeks. Speed depends mostly on how ready your data and processes are, not on the AI itself. A business with clean records and a clear bottleneck moves fast; one that needs to organize its information first spends the early weeks on that groundwork. Training-only engagements can be as short as one or two sessions. We do not pad timelines to inflate fees.
What happens to our data and customer privacy?
Your data stays yours, and we treat customer privacy as a hard limit. Before any project we agree in writing on what data is used, where it is stored, and who can see it. We prefer the minimum data needed and keep sensitive records out of third-party tools where the workflow allows. We sign an NDA on request at no cost, and we do not reuse your business data to train models or serve other clients.
What can AI realistically NOT do for my business?
AI is a capable assistant, not a replacement for judgment, and it fails in predictable ways. It will not fix a broken process, replace your staff, or run your business on autopilot. Anyone promising that is overselling. Pretending otherwise is how businesses waste money on tools they abandon in three months. We would rather lose a sale than set you up to fail, so we say honestly when AI is not the right fit yet.
Do you work in Indonesian and Balinese business contexts?
Yes. We deliver consulting and training in both Indonesian and English, and build tools that handle Bahasa Indonesia for customer-facing use. Many AI tools perform better in English than Indonesian, so we test in your real language before recommending anything. We also account for Bali realities: seasonal tourism swings, WhatsApp as the primary channel, and small teams that wear many hats. For multilingual guest service we set up and test each language path separately.
What are your contract and payment terms?
Terms are written plainly and kept flexible for small businesses, with no long lock-ins to start. Project work uses a scope document and fixed quote, usually split into a deposit and a completion payment. Retainers run month to month, cancellable with reasonable notice, no multi-year tie-ins. Training is paid per program and the materials are yours to keep. We do not guarantee specific revenue or savings figures, because those depend on factors outside any consultant's control.
How do I start?
The first step is a free 30-minute scoping conversation with no obligation. Tell us your business and the one bottleneck you want to fix, and we will tell you honestly whether AI is the right answer, even when the answer is 'not yet.' Message us on WhatsApp at +62 811-2859-0000 or email info@aiforbusinessbali.com. We reply directly, not with a sales script.
Are you a software vendor or reseller?
No. We are an independent AI adoption consultancy and training provider, not a software vendor or reseller. We are vendor-neutral and recommend whatever tool fits your problem and budget, including free tools, and we will advise against AI when it is not the right fit. Because we do not earn commissions on the tools we suggest, our recommendation is based on your workflow, not a sales target.
What is included in the free 30-minute AI audit?
The free 30-minute audit maps one real bottleneck in your business and checks whether AI is the right fix. There is no charge and no obligation. If we proceed, you get an honest written plan within two to three days covering the recommended tool, its cost, its limitations, and a realistic time-saving estimate. You keep that plan either way. Final scope and price are quoted only after this audit.
Which AI tools do you recommend for a Bali small business?
It depends entirely on the bottleneck. Common starting points are WhatsApp enquiry replies, booking confirmations, review requests, document automation, and content workflows. Because we are vendor-neutral, we test the specific tool in your real language and on your real examples before recommending it, and we name which tools process data outside Indonesia. Sometimes the right answer is a free tool, and sometimes it is no AI at all.
Do you offer ongoing support after setup?
Yes, optionally. Every project includes a 30-day check-in to fix issues and confirm real time savings. Beyond that, a monthly AI advisory retainer is available from IDR 3,000,000 per month (about USD 190 as of June 2026) for light-touch check-ins, tuning, and new use cases. It runs month to month and is cancellable with reasonable notice. Many clients do not need it after the initial handover, and we will say so.
Can you train our team rather than just set up tools?
Yes, team training is a core service and can be booked on its own. Workshops are hands-on, run in English or Bahasa Indonesia, and use the tools your staff actually use with your own examples rather than generic demos. Indicative pricing starts from IDR 2,500,000 as of June 2026. A training-only engagement can be as short as one or two sessions, and the materials are yours to keep and reuse with your team.
Do you help with Indonesia's data protection law (UU PDP)?
We help you stay aligned with Indonesia's personal data protection law, UU PDP No. 27/2022, by being clear about what data each tool uses and where it is stored, and by flagging vendors that process data outside Indonesia. We are consultants, not lawyers. For binding legal advice on compliance, we refer you to a qualified Indonesian data-protection professional rather than offering it ourselves.
Do you guarantee results or a specific return on investment?
No. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as exact revenue lifts or savings figures, because those depend on factors outside any consultant's control. What we commit to is honest scoping, working tools, and trained staff. We also do not publish client reviews, star ratings, awards, or credentials we cannot verify. If a project will not pay off for you, we will tell you before you spend the money.
Where in Bali do you work, and do you offer remote sessions?
We are based in Denpasar and work in person across South Bali, including Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak and Sanur. We also work remotely across Indonesia by video and WhatsApp, so businesses outside South Bali can still engage us. All work is available in English and Bahasa Indonesia. WhatsApp +62 811-2859-0000 or email info@aiforbusinessbali.com to check availability for your area.
